Ein eher ungew?hnliches Sujet sind Kernkraftwerke. Das Foto zeigt Biblis Block A mit der typischen Reaktorkupppel rechts und den beiden K?hlt?rmen links. Dieser Druckwasserreaktor mit einer elektrischen Brutto-Leistung von 1.225MW wird von RWE betrieben. Im Juli 1974 wurde er zum ersten Mal kritisch, zum Zeitpunkt des Fotos war er nach einer Reparatur au?er Betrieb.
Rechts, au?erhalb des Bildes, befindet sich noch Block B mit einer Leistung von 1.300 MWe

Nuclear Power Kitsch
Nuclear power plants are objects rather seldom to be photographed. This picture shows NPP Biblis, unit A, with the typical reactor dome to the right and the two cooling towers to the left. This pressurized water reactor is operated by RWE and is able to produce a maximum output of 1,225MW. It first went critical in 1974. At the time this photo was taken, it was out of order after some repair works.
To the right, just outside the picture, unit B with a maximum power output of 1,300MW is situated.
