Zwaardemaker Zaandam
|
Former peeling mill for barley at the Zaan in Zaandam (NL). The mill has been build 1913-14 as a reinforced concrete frame construction; it has a silo part (one of the first complete concrete silo's), an elevator tower, a storehouse and a cleaning building. In 2001 it has become a classified monument. It has been renovated and converted into 38 apartments. More information here.
Next to it is laying a small engineering works.
