Västanfors
Västanfors power station near Fagersta. The current station (to the left) replaced the original station in 1949. It has a single 1.15 MW turbine producing 5.4 GWh per year.

The old station opened in 1899. It was designed by Qvist & Gjers. The four turbines powered two AC generators and two DC generators (magnetization current). All generators were manufactured by ASEA. Today it is a museum with most of the machinery intact.
